Urgent:-Tibetans need earthquake relief
Dear friends,
As you know, an earthquake measuring 6.9 on the Richter scale hit the Tibetan province of Kham Kyegudo (Yushu = Chinese) in the early morning of Wednesday, 14th April 2010. According to sources from the affected area, the natural disaster has resulted in the deaths of over ten thousand people. Many more are injured and countless others are trapped underneath the rubble of their collapsed homes. Over 85% of the houses in Kyegudo have collapsed, partly due to poor construction. At the moment, Tibetans in the affected area are facing severe problems, including a lack of basic needs such as clothing, food, medical supplies, shelter, etc.
Therefore, we would like to request that all the friends and supporters of Tibet donate to help the earthquake victims of the quake through the following websites:
“Serving humankind is serving god”
Thank you
National Democratic Party of Tibet
