NDPT President Statement for the 51st uprising day.

This year marks the year of intrigue for the brave Tibetans living all over the Tibet who had participated in the protest without preplan and gathering, but voluntarily moved forward to claim their rights from red Chinese and today we mark the 51st day of uprising. Today on this very important day we the NDPT would like to solute the hard work and dedication made by all our brave Tibetan brothers and sisters who live inside Tibet as well as all over the world and hearty welcome to all.
As of now so many Tibetans has sacrifice their life and put various pressure on china by following the non-violent path. The very act and purpose of our protest is to preserve our culture and land which actually belongs to us, to bring Tibetans who live all over Tibet closer. If we speak from different point of view our struggle doesn’t only concerns Tibetans but it is for the world peace as well.
It is clear that during those 50 years, China has done unthinkable and unbearable torture and exploitation in Tibet, especially during 1987 the great revolution and in 2008, non-violent protest in Tibet. China showed no mercy and they used all modern weapons to suppress Tibetans. Over hundreds and thousands of Tibetans were killed and many were put behind the bar without valid reasons. More over many Tibetans were kidnapped and till now we have no clues on them. So this ruthless behavior of china is Cristal clear in everyone’s eyes.
This year’s 51st uprising day is extremely important in our history. HH the Dalai Lama along with Tibetans had lived in exile for the past 50 years; during those years Tibetans in exile has done everything to stay in connected with Chinese government. Moreover, Tibetans outside the Tibet has arranged many dialogues with Chinese leaders and administrators. Nevertheless Chinese authorities keep on pressurizing Tibetans who lived inside the Tibet. China completely denied the historical facts and opposes HH the Dalai lama and Central Tibetan Administration, which in reality always try to serve and benefits Tibetans .From today onwards, we need to put more efforts and to strive for a brighter future and freedom. Need a cooperated activities initiating in every places in the world to enhance the knowledge of Tibet cause to everyone.
